Tourism, Bertero: “Friuli Venezia Giulia is a surprising destination, at Bmt we are recovering relationships”

This was declared by the PromoTurismoFVG marketing director in view of participation in the 25th edition of the Mediterranean Tourism Exchange at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples from 18 to 20 March

“According to various trends, this season too, safe travel and destinations that are not too crowded will be preferred and our region fits perfectly into this target. Nature, open air, mountains, hills and sea, with also some cities of art and various villages in which to slowly discover the traditions of a place. Friuli Venezia Giulia still represents a destination capable of surprising the traveler who does not know it, to amaze with a small but extremely varied territory and a highly respectable food and wine offer". So, to say, Bruno Bertero, marketing director PromoTurismoFVG, in view of participation in the 25th edition of the Mediterranean Tourism Exchange at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples from 18 to 20 March.

The three-day event will serve, explains Bertero, "to recover human relationships with operators, which have been particularly difficult in the last two years, to see and discover the products in person. In short, going back to working on human relationships with the markets of origin: in our stand there will be some sellers including tourist consortia, incoming agencies and tour operators who will promote Friuli Venezia Giulia in a heterogeneous way with economically advantageous and sustainable proposals. We focus on the diversity of our offer and on the good fortune of offering tourists a variety of landscapes and the possibility of moving to different areas of the region in a short time. We will focus on biking, outdoor activities, sports and experiences with Sportland packages, including cycle paths, slow itineraries through villages and vineyards and tours for food and wine lovers, who will find various proposals for tasting the typical products along the Wine and Flavor Route of Friuli Venezia Giulia. In line with trends, we will also bring niche routes such as religious tourism and walks to the fair, without forgetting culture, promoting important exhibitions and anniversaries of the birth of two writers of national and world fame: Pier Paolo Pasolini and James Joyce".
