7 Air Arabia Maroc routes to Italy
D'Onofrio: this period has shown us the importance of digital communication.
Air Arabia Maroc preparing for the 2021 summer season with an increase in flight frequencies and new destinations to offer travelers a unique and comfortable airline experience at very competitive rates. New connections from several Moroccan cities to new destinations in France and Spain, such as Bilbao, Valencia, Malaga and Marseille, emblematic destinations in France and Spain whose charm and heritage attracts all visitors, but also a line between Milan and Cairo, so as between Naples and Sharm el-Sheikh.
Marco D'Onofrio, Sales Manager of the company, explains how Air Arabia Maroc will face the next few months: “From Morocco we serve seven cities in Italy: Bologna, Milan, Turin, Venice, Naples, Catania and Pisa. Italy is therefore one of our main markets in Europe. To date, flights to Morocco are prohibited due to the health crisis, but we hope they will resume soon.”
A new beginning, therefore, but how is air Arabia preparing for the recovery of the tourism market? “It has already established special flights operated by the company since July 2020, in accordance with the decision of the Moroccan government, to allow Moroccan citizens and foreign residents in Morocco, as well as their families, to travel to the kingdom, under certain conditions. Our customers who wish to book a flight can use all of the company's sales channels, including our website and call center, our network of partner agencies or directly at the airport.”.
The way of working has certainly changed: “This period has shown us the importance of digital communication. Since the beginning of the health crisis, we have regularly shared information with our customers through our social media, via email, or also from our website and digital platforms. We have also continued to improve the safety of our customers. Air Arabia Maroc has notably launched COVID-19 global assistance coverage which allows our passengers to be covered worldwide. If a customer tests positive for COVID-19 during their travel, their medical and quarantine expenses are automatically covered."
