BMT 2015: all the big names choose Naples to launch the season
The Mediterranean Tourism Exchange will be the only spring event that will see the presence of all the major players in the tourism system. The ASTOI and Federviaggio areas and the village dedicated to LGBT tourism have been confirmed, while in the incoming area there will be 4 workshops with foreign buyers.
Naples, 3 March 2015 – Naples for you. More than a claim, it is an invitation from BMT
Mediterranean Tourism Exchange, and addressed to the entire audience of travel agents, and to that of tour operators, carriers and all the protagonists of the sector, on the occasion of the 2015 edition of the Show, scheduled from Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th March next.
Naples for you because on the occasion of the nineteenth appointment with the Stock Exchange organized by Angioletto de Negri's Progecta, the cards will be revealed in view of the upcoming tourist season and at the Mostra d'Oltremare, venue of the appointment, Progecta intends to host the greatest number of visitors.
So much so that one of the main innovations of the 2015 edition of the BMT is the return of direct connection services between various Italian offices and Naples, thanks to the collaboration of various carriers, air, sea, rail and road and especially Trenitalia , Meridiana and GNV.
An approach requested by visitors but also wanted by the organization which has also studied specific hotel packages to encourage travel agents to stay in Naples during the days of the fair.
THE HALL
The exhibition area confirms its traditional formula. There are five pavilions reserved for the different categories of companies operating in the sector and, as always, the range of proposals is broad.
In the outgoing area, next to the association spaces of Astoi in pavilion 6 and Federviaggio in pavilion 5, the village dedicated to LGBT tourism organized with the collaboration of Twizz returns and among the new features, the "Contract and Design" area, located in the pavilion 3 which will have as its objective the meeting between hoteliers, hotel managers, purchasing directors, buyers of hotel chains, spas and wellness centres, and in general all operators in the sector interested in meeting companies operating in the sector of the building and restyling.
Numerous tourism bodies have confirmed their presence at the BMT, in many cases increasing the exhibition spaces to be able to host the operators of the countries they represent within their stands.
Also present this year are all the big names in tour operating who have chosen Naples as the only spring event to launch the season and to meet the vast audience of travel agents. All the main shipping companies were also present, especially in the cruise sector (MSC, Costa, Grimaldi, Royal Caribbean). Among hotel chains, there are important returns such as Best Western and Sandals.
I 4 WORKSHOP
The interest in B2B will, as always, revolve around the workshops dedicated to incoming. The BMT 2015 formula will once again see the area dedicated to negotiations animated by four workshops which will see the participation of buyers interested in the Italian product, who will arrive from all over the world.
Particular attention will be paid to the MICE segment and social tourism. As always, numerous events will surround the moments dedicated to negotiations between operators.
